Janusz Aleksander Bicz took on the position of Alliance President after Jan Krawiec resigned from it; he took his oath at an extraordinary PAC Assembly in Hamilton.
He is married to Danuta and has four sons. He has been a member of PAC Branch 10 in Brantford since 1990; he was the Branch’s Financial Secretary in 1993.
For a few years, he was President of the Polish Alliance (Brant) Credit Union Management. During his PAC Head Executive Board presidency, he also managed The Alliancer for a period.
The financial difficulties and continually growing deficit of the publication Związkowiec – “The Alliancer” led to a search for solutions that would save it.
The creation of a new corporation called Polish Community Media Corporation, which worked alongside The Polish Alliance Press Ltd., did not solve the problems.
As a result, the Head Executive Board’s domicile was sold to St. Casimir’s Holdings in Toronto to pay off the accumulated debts. The Polish Alliance of Canada remained without its own domicile.
Aleksander Bicz was president of the Polish Alliance (Brant) Credit Union that latter was merged with FirstOntario Credit Union.
