120 Years of Fundraising, Charity & Organizational Work

For Poland, the Polish Community, and Canada

The founders of the Polish Alliance of Canada created an organization founded on noble ideals and guiding principles, open to all Poles regardless of origin, religion, or political views. Their ambition was to sustain the spirit of immigrants in a new and unfamiliar country, support their cultural needs, and preserve and pass down the treasures of Polish traditions and customs. It is impossible to fully capture all of the great accomplishments and significant successes that, over the years, have strengthened the Polish community within the multicultural mosaic of Canadian society. Below are some of the organization’s most important and distinguished achievements throughout the years.
Help for flood victims (1970s & 1990s)
Members of the Polish Alliance of Canada have long supported victims of floods and natural disasters in Poland through fundraising and humanitarian aid. Beyond disaster relief, Alliance members consistently responded to requests for help by organizing events and sending food, clothing, medicine, and other essentials to orphanages, hospitals, and families in need—a tradition of generosity that continues today.
